Uniquely, Edgewood Farm is a private rental property. We reserve the site outright so that your special day is for only your family and friends -- exclusively. See our rehearsal dinner opportunities.

More details below.

The Grounds...

The expansive grounds offer everything you would want for your special day, with breathtaking natural vistas, classic New England architecture, open public areas, and intimate nooks to share a special moment. All told the estate offers countless photo opportunities both in-door and out.

The Gazebo...

A short stroll from the barn, this gazebo is a favorite of all who come to the Farm. Located in an enchanting meadow with views of rolling fields, pastures and our fresh water pond (stocked with rainbow trout for your fishing pleasure) the Gazebo is an ideal location for sunset cocktails, intimate dinners, or simply as a spot to admire the peaceful serenity of an idyllic setting.

The Orchard...

The orchard makes an ideal ceremony site with its natural and landscaped areas, lush flower and vegetable gardens, water features, and mature fruit trees providing both sunlit and shaded areas. The Orchard also features a classic New England hammock to relax in the shade, or antique lawn chairs where you can delve into that novel you have been dying to read. Being at one with nature is a way of life at Edgewood Farm.

The Barn...

Rental of our 1900's timber framed barn decorated with antique farm memorabilia is the highlight for many wedding celebrations. The first floor features exposed hand-hewn beams and original barn flooring. This serves as the game room with both pool and ping-pong tables, sofas and chairs in which to relax and catch up with friends and relatives. Young and old alike find this area entertaining and a great location to congregate and recreate during the reception. The second floor features walls that rise 30 feet to the roof-line, with a commanding spiral staircase leading to a cupola affording a panoramic view of the surrounding coastal area. This dramatic open space allows sunlight to cascade through the windows and bathe the location in a warm afternoon glow. The second floor can accommodate approximately 100 people for a seated dinner or 150 for seating only. In the event of rain, this location can also serve as a backup venue for an outdoor wedding ceremony.

Special Decorations...

We also have a series of antique farm implements including a horse-drawn carriage, hay wagons, and other working farm antiques. A 1930 Model A Ford is available for use in the wedding celebration. Hand-dug wells with antique water pumps dot the premises - good for a crisp and refreshing drink, as well as a big hit with the youngsters.
